Garden Centre POS

FOS Board

I designed this informative board for the FOS of Chessington Garden Centre to clearly showcase everything we offer in-store. It highlights the different areas of our garden centre, from the Sedum Restaurant and outdoor living showroom to our farm shop, butchers, and expert gardening advice. I made sure the design stayed true to our brand guidelines, using Chessington’s signature grey to convey sophistication and pairing it with ‘Raleway,’ our go-to font for everyday POS, to ensure clarity and readability for our diverse audience. This board not only serves as a welcoming guide for customers but also helps them explore our services, sustainability efforts, and the unique shopping experience we provide.

History Board

I created this Our History board to give customers a deeper connection to Chessington Garden Centre as they explore our space. Designed to engage visitors during their walk around, the board shares our journey, from humble beginnings to the thriving business we are today, making their shopping experience more personal. Staying true to our brand, I used our signature green, a color that has been with us the longest and holds sentimental value, reinforcing our heritage and commitment to nature. The design balances nostalgia with clarity, ensuring that our story is both visually inviting and easy to read. This board serves as a heartfelt way to welcome customers into our history, celebrating our growth while strengthening their connection to Chessington Garden Centre.

Houseplant Cupboards

We had a set of empty white cupboards in a busy customer walkway that had been left unused for years. Rather than letting the space go to waste, I used my expertise to design a vibrant vinyl graphic that could transform the area into something both functional and engaging. Now, as part of our new houseplant section, this graphic provides customers with key guidance on choosing and caring for houseplants, making their shopping experience easier and more enjoyable. The design not only enhances the space visually but also aligns with our brand identity, ensuring a cohesive and welcoming feel. This project has turned an overlooked area into a valuable resource, helping customers feel confident in their houseplant purchases while elevating the overall look of our garden centre.
